PROCESS TANKS

All electrofinishing process systems require a well engineered vessel to hold the liquid chemistry at conditions that make it effective for product use. Process vessels, depending on the material of construction can be one of the more expensive components of a process line, regardless of its complexity. As a result, customers are looking to their equipment supplier to have and provide a level of knowledge of electrochemical chemistries and their interactions with various materials of construction when designing the process tanks. Our 25 years of direct metal finishing experience has introduced us to many electroplating processes, which has allowed us to understand what materials perform best under certain process environments.

Within our 27,000 sq ft. facility we have the capability to fabricate an array of process tanks of varying shapes and materials. Our skilled staff are able to fabricate process tanks out of the following materials:

- Mild steel
- Titanium
- Stainless steel
- Thermoplastics (i.e. Polypropylene (co-polymer) and other plastics)
- Europolymer

Tank Liners; because of the solution contained and/or the environment around them, we offer a range of chemical resistant linings, such as:

- PVC
- Plastisol
- PVDF
- Lead
- Rubber
- FRP
- Epoxy paints (for exterior surfaces)

Process tanks, depending on their use also will require ancillary equipment, which we provide additionally, examples below:

- Tank lids
- Tank stands and supports
- Tank stairways

- Walkways; platforms

- Process plumbing
- Tank identification
- Mechanical agitator systems
- Electrochemical bussing

All process tanks and components are designed in-house by our experienced CAD personnel to ensure the design correctness and development of easy-to-follow fabrication drawings.
